Checking Out Las Vegas Skate Parks with Lost Coast Longboarding
Whether you're from the Las Vegas area or just passing through, there are quite a few Las Vegas skate parks worth checking out! The skate scene in Las Vegas is alive and well. You'll find them scattered all around the large city so in each description we'll specify which general area you can find some of our favorites. We noticed that there is a huge diversity of skate parks in the area - big, small, advanced, mellow, some geared towards street and some that have it all!

Rotary Skatepark in Clovis | Fresno Skatepark
Rotary Skatepark is a large, spacious concrete skatepark with a layout that encompasses 27,000 square feet. With a large street area and several fun bowls, this is definitely one of my favorite Fresno Skateparks. This large cement skatepark has something for every type of rider, whether your a seasoned pro or just learning your basics. The smooth transitions here are great conditions for longboarding in a skatepark.

Todd Beamer Skatepark in Fresno | Good Street and Vert
Todd Beamer Skatepark is a nice skatepark in Fresno. There is a mix of both street and vert features that make this a great skatepark for any skater. Check it out!

Lions Skatepark in Fresno | Awesome and Spacious
more impressive that we encountered on our Central California skatepark adventure. Whether you prefer street or vert style skating, all skateboarders will probably love everything about this amazing Fresno skatepark.

Applegate Skatepark in Merced – Great Street Skating Spot
The Applegate Skatepark in Merced is a cool little skatepark. Here you'll find a wide variety of street obstacles as well as a small bowl with a roll in. Although not a great layout for longboarding, most street skaters will enjoy this skatepark!

Riverbank Skatepark – Central California Skatepark
As we were checking out skateparks in Central California, our next stop was the Riverbank Skatepark. This is a medium sized skatepark located in Riverbank, California. Here you'll find a nice variety of street skating features and obstacles. This clean and compact skatepark is a fun park that provides a good atmosphere for a quality skate sesh.

McNamara Skatepark in Merced – Small and Simple
McNamara Skatepark in Merced is a nice small skatepark with a decent variety of skate obstacles and transitions. The size of the park and the number of street obstacles make this a good skatepark for street style skaters. Check it out!

Turlock Skatepark | Brandon Koch Memorial Skatepark
The Turlock Skatepark is called the Brandon Koch Memorial Skatepark. It is a cool, compact little skatepark with features and obstacles that street riders will enjoy skating. This is a smooth cement skatepark and great for riders of any skill level.

Longboarding at Oakdale Skatepark | Oakdale, California
Longboarding the Oakdale Skatepark is a fun experience because the large cement skatepark has a number of different transition types and bowls. This unique skatepark has a long skinny layout and provides a great environment for both street and vert skaters. Riders of any age or skill level will enjoy this park because there is a great variety in size and steepness of obstacles. I found that there are many features that make the Oakdale Skatepark great for skatepark longboarding.

Modesto Skatepark | Beyer Community Park
The Modesto Skatepark is a cement skatepark with a narrow perimeter that goes around the four main bowl areas. The largest bowl area of the skatepark has two different pyramid boxes with a couple ledges and a rail. There are some flat ramps as well as rounded vert walls around this area, all of which are very steep and have cement ledges.
