Riders Thoughts:

We walked from the parking lot through small brick walls to find a nice clean little street skatepark. The Safford Skatepark has a very back and forth flow.

One side of the Safford Skatepark has some small vert transitions and features a large rounded banked turn. This large banked turn is the only banked turn in the park and is mostly lined in coping. On this side of the park there is a medium sized roll (good for the longboard) that flows down to the rest of the park.

The middle of the skatepark has an island packed full of street obstacles. Riders can approach the obstacle island from either side of the park and hit a variety of boxes, ledges, and rails. This is a very compact island and it’s great that the obstacles come in different sizes because riders can gradually improve their skills.

The other side of the Safford Skatepark has a very simple and mellow quarter pipe. This side of the skatepark has no other obstacles, but the quarter pipe ramp redirects riders back towards the obstacle island.
