Anthem Skatepark, located in Henderson Nevada, is a very large skatepark with a great open layout. There are many smooth transitions and banked turn which help with the flow of the skatepark. Anthem Skatepark is great for skaters who enjoy riding vert. Here you will find a variety of vert obstacles of different sizes and skill levels. Longboarding the Wetlands Loop Trail
Some people hit the jackpot on the strip in Las Vegas but we hit the jackpot by finding a lot of fun things to do off the strip in the Las Vegas area! In fact, this area has some great scenery nearby as well as exciting hikes and even hot springs. We also enjoyed the skate parks and the pump track in the area. But as far as longboarding goes, the Wetlands Loop Trail is amazing! Not just by things to do in the Las Vegas area standards but from all of our longboarding adventures this one was a lot of fun!

Gold Strike Hot Springs
One of the coolest adventures that we did on the outskirts of Vegas was the hike to Gold Strike Hot Springs. This hike is in Boulder City, about 45 minutes from the Strip. This hike had it all: beautiful scenery, boulder scrambling, ropes to repel down, hot springs, and a cold river!

Testing the Waterborne Skateboards Surf Adapter
Who says you can't surf in the desert? We had the opportunity to test the Waterborne Skateboards Surf Adapter out here in the desert. We've seen pictures and videos of this thing on Instagram and we had to try it out. It caught my eye when I saw the animation video of how it worked, then I saw the videos and images of people carving hard with the Surf Adapter.
