But hiking Devil's Causeway Mosquito Lake Loop also allows for the change to encounter stunning vistas and great views of the Chinese Wall formation as well as experience hiking through tundra and seeing several lakes. This scenic drive follows the length of the canyon offering many stops including viewpoints, overlooks, short hikes, and picnic areas. Rabbits Ear Trail is a rewarding hike in McInnis Canyon National Conservation Area. The trail is a lollipop loop that climbs a ridge decorated in colorful wildflowers up to Rabbit Ear Mesa. Once atop the mesa, the trail becomes more level and loops around the rim granting vast views overlooking the surrounding area.

Bill Williams Mountain Lookout | Williams, AZ
Conveniently located just off I-40, hiking Bill Williams Mountain is a great opportunity to earn vast area views from the 9,256 foot summit. The hike begins at Williams District Ranger Station at about 7,000 feet and climbs steadily through the fir and aspen gaining about 2,250 feet. The trail is well maintained and is shaded for the majority of the hike. Hiking Bill Williams Mountain trail is a great way to beat the heat as the combination of shade and elevation make favorable summer hiking conditions.
