Wheel Park Skatepark in Aurora | Great Features for Everyone
Wheel Park Skatepark in Aurora, Colorado is an amazing 20,000 sq. ft. cement skatepark with a ton of really good skate features. The park was designed by SITE Design Group, Inc. who created a park that is great for athletes of any age or any skill level. And it's a great skatepark for anyone looking to improve any aspects of their abilities. I really enjoyed the transitions of the Wheel Skatepark. The flow of the entire park is a lot of fun for my cement surfing style of riding a longboard in a skatepark.

Beautiful Backpacking on Rawah Trail | Rawah Lakes and Sandbar Lakes
Backpacking Rawah Trail is a less travelled adventure in the beautiful, remote Rawah Wilderness. Rawah Trail climbs up from the Laramie River and enters the wilderness. It then leads to several sets of pretty alpine lakes with side trail options to lengthen the adventure. Enjoy the gorgeous glacially carved landscape with its mix of high peaks and cirque lakes without the crowds!

Pioneer Skatepark in Commerce City | Bowl and Great Street Plaza
Pioneer Skatepark is a really nice 16,900 square foot concrete skatepark in Commerce City, Colorado. This SITE Design Group creation provides a great diversity of concrete obstacles in a street plaza environment. In addition to the street oriented features, there is a interesting bowl with its own unique characteristics. The size of the features here make this a pretty approachable skatepark for riders of any age or skill level. The flow and layout of Pioneer Skatepark are not great for my cement surfing style of longboarding in a skatepark. But street skaters will really enjoy this park.

Dispersed Camping Near Gould | Forest Road 740
Dispersed Camping near Gould on Forest Road 740 is a great camping destination in itself. There are numerous camp spots along the main road as well as some more private spots found on the many forest roads in the area. It's also a great spot to set up home base while getting out and exploring the incredible landscapes and recreation opportunities that surround this area.

Brian Aragon Skatepark in Brighton | Good Street and Flowy Vert
Brian Aragon Skatepark in Brighton, Colorado is a nice 14,000 square foot cement skatepark with a number of street and transition skating features. This is a great place for skaters who are already comfortable with the basics and are ready to try some new features. The smooth transitions and a good flow around the skatepark make it a fun option for cement surfing on a longboard.

Spring Creek Road has numerous options for dispersed camping near Eagles Nest Wilderness. Although quiet a drive from the main road, these spots are worth the effort. Some spots are nestled in the aspens, some in a large meadow, others among conifers and some with a view!

Fish Creek Falls in Steamboat Springs is one of the many beautiful outdoor destinations in the area worth checking out. Fish Creek Falls is a beautiful 283 foot waterfall that can be enjoyed by all. Just a short drive from the town of Steamboat Springs will get you to the parking area where you will need to pay $5. From there, the trail to Fish Creek Falls is a pretty, paved 1/4 mile walk to the waterfall that is wheelchair friendly. This is a wonderful opportunity for people of all skill levels to see some of the areas abundant natural beauty.

Hiking Buffalo Pass Lakes Loop is a short but super scenic hike in the beautiful Mount Zirkel Wilderness. This loop makes for a great hike near Steamboat Springs, entering the southern tip of the wilderness. In just a short three miles, Buffalo Pass Lakes Trail visits four gorgeous alpine lakes - George Lake, Martha Lake, Whale Lake, and Jonah Lake. Plus there's a quick side trail option to a fifth lake - Shoestring Lake. And not to mention, the trail itself starts with a quick glimpse of Summit Lake. Now that's one scenic hike stuffed full of just the good stuff!

Milliken Skatepark | Fun Unique Layout
Milliken Skatepark is another fun Evergreen Skatepark built back in 2014. This 14,000 square foot concrete skatepark has a very unique layout and is packed full of fun features. Some of the classic Evergreen features are apparent but the layout has more diversity than some of their other builds. The variety of features, smooth transitions and flow make this great for longboarding in a skatepark. Riders of any skill level can enjoy this skatepark in Milliken.
