At the front of the skatepark you can find a very unique obstacle special to this skatepark – a large rounded tunnel with quarter pipes on both sides. There are a few banked turns in the Ulysses Skatepark in Golden that are positioned great for building and maintaining a fast speed while in the skatepark. These large banked turns are located on either end of the main bowl area. These big walls made it easy to go fast and get high on the walls.

The back wall of the large main area has a very unique feature that is great. The back wall of the banked turn has coping that smoothly fades into the wall, leaving a gap in the coping that connects to the larger wall above. This feature makes it possible to drop into the bowl via a wall ride from the next level up. I have never entered a bowl like this before so it made for a fun but challenging experience!
