Goodtimes Skate Shop in Grass Valley, CA

Grass Valley is a small town in California, rich in skateboarding culture. The local Grass Valley skate shop is called Goodtimes. They have been around since 1997 and they have everything a boarder would be looking for!

Goodtimes Skate Shop is located in the heart of Grass Valley, right downtown at 146 Mill Street. Since Covid, the city has closed the main street to vehicles so you’ll have to find parking around the back of the store and walk to the front of all the shops on Mill Street. Goodtimes is open 7 days a week from 10am – 6pm Monday through Saturday and 11am – 5pm on Sunday.

The staff here is very nice, helpful and pretty knowledgeable of the products as well as local skateboarding culture in Grass Valley.

Checking Out the Shop

This may be a little shop, but they are stocked up! You can find sweet merch all over the store including footwear, tons of apparel, skateboard decks, sunglasses, hats, all the accessories and brands you will be looking for.

There is a lot to see inside the Goodtimes Skate Shop. The walls of the skate shop are littered with tons of awesome skateboards. A good look around this skate shop will feel similar to a look around a skateboard museum. You can find plenty of signed skateboards, limited edition decks, and glimpses of skateboarding history all around the shop.

They carry a number of brands and shapes of skateboards and longboards, but you probably won’t find any scooters here.
