Longboarding the Boise River Greenbelt
The Boise River Greenbelt is a 25 mile path that runs along the Boise River through Boise Idaho. The Greenbelt connects many neighborhoods and parks throughout the entire city of Boise. Longboarding the Boise River Greenbelt is great because the majority of the path is smooth cement like a sidewalk along with some sections of asphalt.

Longboarding Hyalite Canyon
Hyalite Canyon is a windy mountain road just south of Bozeman, Montana that leads to the Hyalite Reservior. The moderate amount of traffic and the beautiful scenery made a perfect setting for a fun longboard run. The lush Montana forest surrounds both sides of the pavement for the entire ride down the mountain.

Longboarding Beartooth Highway
The Beartooth Highway is a beautiful high elevation highway that crosses the border of Montana and Wyoming. This incredible scenic drive passes over the Beartooth Pass at a whopping 10,947 feet above sea level. From the pass the road is smooth, downhill and curvy - perfect longboarding conditions. Longboarding Bear River State Park
Our first time longboarding in Wyoming was just passed the Utah/Wyoming state line at the Bear River State Park. This state park also happens to be the first rest stop on the US80 going east into Wyoming. Pulling off the interstate into Bear River State Park we saw buffalo in the meadow and we felt welcomed to Wyoming.

Longboarding the Wetlands Loop Trail
Some people hit the jackpot on the strip in Las Vegas but we hit the jackpot by finding a lot of fun things to do off the strip in the Las Vegas area! In fact, this area has some great scenery nearby as well as exciting hikes and even hot springs. We also enjoyed the skate parks and the pump track in the area. But as far as longboarding goes, the Wetlands Loop Trail is amazing! Not just by things to do in the Las Vegas area standards but from all of our longboarding adventures this one was a lot of fun!

Longboarding Yaqui Pass
The largest hill that I skated in Anza Borrego State Park was on the S-3 near Yaqui Pass Campground. The S-3 road is also called Yaqui Pass Road. This road probably has the largest hill in the park and from the pass you can head north downhill or south downhill.
