Our life of travel and adventure takes us to different environments all over the globe, but often times our adventures lead us to cold places. Whether it be a frigid wind in the desert or a snow covered mountain peak, having the right equipment will make the whole experience much more enjoyable. But sometimes it’s just TOO COLD! Luckily, Venustas has created a line of heated products to help us get outdoors, brave the cold, and “live life without limits”! Venustas offers a large selection of heated gear for men, women and children. Heated apparel options include various styles of vests, hoodies, and numerous coats and jackets of different materials such as fleece, down, and canvas options. Venustas heated apparel is powered by a long lasting rechargeable battery with multiple settings for customizable warmth.

They have a variety of heated accessories as well including heated gloves, hats, hand warmers, socks, and even camping chairs with heated seats and backs. And there are a number of non-heated accessories available including beanies, baseball caps and reusable totes.

Venustas Heated Apparel Steps and Specs

In each of the Venustas heated gear items, there is a pocket with a short cord that plugs into the included small battery pack. The battery packs have an LED display that shows the battery life. Once plugged in, slide the battery pack into the small pocket and zip it up. On the heated apparel, there is a small rubbery button that is responsible for the power and heat setting. Hold the button for 5 seconds to turn on. The light will slowly flash red as it warms up. After that, there are three temperature settings for adjustable warmth. Push the button to cycle through the temperature settings from red, white, blue and back to red. To shut off the heating element, hold the button for 5 second.

The battery life of the Venustas heated apparel are pretty impressive. According to the website, the expected battery life off a full charge is:

High	3 to 4 hours
Medium	4 to 5 hours
Low	8 to 9 hours

Venustas Men’s 3-in-1 Heated Jacket

The Venustas 3-in-1 Heated Jacket is a perfect layering option. The 3-in-1 option includes a water resistant shell and a heated inner fleece zip up. They can be worn together or unzipped and separated so you now have a thick coat, a light coat or a lighter fleece zip up. The coat has a wind resistant barrier which is another important feature on a cold, wintery day. They detach from each other relatively easily and the hood of the coat can be unzipped and removed/added as desired. They thought of everything!

There are 5 heating zones: left/right chest, left/right shoulders, and mid-back.

Our Venustas heated jacket came in a waterproof bag great for packing and storing. This is a nice addition because it stores much more compact when zipped into the provided bag. And with our on the road lifestyle, space utilization is very important.

The products themselves are made of durable, high quality material with the added benefit of being able to turn on the heating element. In addition to the evident durability of the products, we found the Venustas 3 in 1 heated jacket (and the heated hoodie below) to be quite “stylish”. They are well designed, warm and they look nice. Even the zippers feels smooth and strong.

One complaint that we’ve read about the design of this particular heated jacket is that the power/setting light is on the inside rather than the outside. Besides the tiny inconvenience of having to look inside to see the setting, I like that the light is low key rather than screaming that I’m wearing a battery powered clothing item.

Venustas Heated Hoodie

The heated hoodie from Venustas is a nice, casual heated apparel option. This hoodie is thick, lined in fleece and has a nice oversized hood. The material is hemmed around the hips as well as the cuffs around the wrists to help keep out the cold. It looks really nice and is made for warmth and comfort even before plugging in the battery pack.

There are 5 heating zones in the Venustas heated hoodie: left/right chest, left/right pocket, and mid back. Having the heaters in the pockets of the hoodie is perfect for warming up your hands.
