The gorgeous area of Mammoth Lakes is a great hub for everything outdoors. With so much to see in this area, the numerous trailheads to choose from and seemingly endless destinations to reach you really can't go wrong. After looking at the map, playing with routes and doing some research we decided on backpacking to Ediza Lake.
