Longboarding the Pueblo Skatepark in El Centro del Quinto Sol
Our travels through Colorado led us the 23,000 square foot concrete Pueblo Skatepark inside the larger El Centro del Quinto Sol park. The skatepark was built in 2016 by Team Pain skateparks with a unique layout that has multiple different sections spread out around the park. This is a large skatepark that is good for riders of any skill level. Plus, both street and vert skaters will enjoy this skatepark. Hiking to Little Zion from Lovell Canyon Road
Hiking to Little Zion is a great way to escape the hustle and bustle of Las Vegas. It is also a nice introduction to a less busy side of Red Rock Canyon National Conservation Area. The trail passes a beautiful diversity of cacti, climbs up through pinyons and junipers to a rewarding overlook. We have been on a few road trips in Colorado and every time we visit the state we find more great skateparks to check out! Sergeant Blake Harris Skatepark in Pueblo is an old skatepark that caters to street skaters. The construction and engineering has a retro/grunge feel that sets its own skate vibe. This skatepark is good for riders of all skill levels.

What We Love About Gold Butte National Monument
Gold Butte National Monument is one big pocket of adventure where you can spend days exploring the beautiful desert landscapes and discovering neat features. This 300,000 acre gem was designated a national monument back in 2016, protecting the vast, rugged environment and its interesting history. Encounter joshua trees, a great variety of cacti, canyons all to yourself, rock scrambling and incredible petroglyphs. And enjoy the endless opportunity for discovery and solitude in this vast, colorful desert terrain.

Civic Center Skatepark in Pueblo West | Street Features and Obstacles
The Civic Center Skatepark is a small concrete skatepark in Pueblo West, Colorado. This skatepark is great for street skaters and scooters but not the best spot for longboarding in a skatepark. The variety of features here can make for some pretty good lines that include different obstacles.

Cañon City Skatepark | Big Bowl with a Great Flow
We have experienced many really cool skateparks in Colorado that are great for cement surfing with the longboard. The Cañon City Skatepark in Colorado is one of these great skateparks! I found the flow and transitions of this 15,000 sq. ft. concrete skatepark to be great for longboarding. This is not the biggest skatepark but it has a great use of space and is a lot of fun!

This small skatepark was going to be a quick stop, but the park exceeded our expectations and turned into a few hours of skateparkin'. This is a fun and compact skatepark with a ton of flow that was great for cement surfing with the longboard!
